Founded in 2012, Amala 9 Studios is an international art, advertising, comics and digital illustration studio based in Rio de Janeiro- Brazil. The studio has the honor of having, among the founders, internationally renowned artists whose works have been featured in art magazines and international art publications like 2D Artist, Computer Arts, Lürzer´s Int´l ARCHIVE and Wizard Magazine.

What "Amala 9" means ?

Buddhism teaches that there are 9 levels of Consciousness. Each level has a name, AMALA is the ninth level, the level of pure consciousness, when all consciousness become one. For us that means that the Studio and client must achieve a singular thought and have a unique idea. That is our mission, that is our goal.
